The HEX 01 hot embossing system presents advantages compared to micro injection molding, especially in terms of flexibility and economy. HEX 01 can be used for any number of pieces - from rapid prototyping through pilot series to series production. Resetting in next to no time. Preferred applications are in the microstructuring of thermoplastic polymers, especially the production of high-precision microfluidic components with a large aspect ratio and micro-optical components.
Due to its small footprint and low weight, this table-top machine is particularly suited for applications which demand the highest degree of flexibility, e.g. rapid prototyping or pilot series production.
